SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv can get their fill of the 2019/20 Zambian Super League, with two live matches broadcast this coming weekend, 15-16 February 2020.
Fans of the ZSL will hope for more drama and thrills as 18 teams go in search of championship glory, qualification to the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, and survival in the top flight.
The first ZSL clash available to SuperSport viewers arrives on the afternoon of Saturday 15 February, as Buildcon host Kabwe Warriors. The Ndola-based Team Kopala come into the clash on the back of a goalless draw away to Lumwana Radiants this past weekend, a result which left them in 12th place on the log.
The Railmen, meanwhile, are eighth on the log after a 3-2 loss away to Zanaco on Sunday, with the Kabwe team netting through Jimmy Ndhlovu and Ali Sadiki as they succumbed to the seven-time ZSL champions.
The teams last met in September 2019, with Buildcon claiming a 1-0 away win thanks to a first-half strike from Isaac Shamujompa.
The next ZSL clash available to SuperSport viewers is on Sunday afternoon, when Zesco United tackle Power Dynamos. Team Ya Ziko are fresh from a 2-0 away win over Mufulira Wanderers which pushed them up to fourth place on the table – two points adrift of leaders Green Eagles but with a game in hand.
Dynamos are seventh on the log but looked in ominous form last Saturday when they hammered Kabwe Youth Academy 4-0 at home, with Dave Daka’s opening goal paving the way for a hat-trick by forward Kennedy Musonda.
Zesco and Dynamos will be meeting for the first time in the ZSL since a goalless draw in July 2018, while Team Ya Ziko have not tasted defeat in this rivalry since way back in 2014.
