Africa’s most exhilarating music and adventure festival, The Vic Falls Carnival, returns in 2018 at one of the Seven Wonders of the World for a once-in-a-lifetime New Years’ experience.

It will be a full-throttle adventure in an incredible setting and with a music hungry crowd all mixed with local and international music-fans boasting a lineup that showcases the best talent from around Africa.

Cited by The Huffington Post as an experience that will “top your bucket list”, the carnival is the one festival that shoud not be missed on the festival calendar.

This year’s launch artists are sure to make the New Year’s unforgettable.

Organisers of the carnival said they are excited to welcome smash-hit songstress, Lady Zamar, who is behind hits like 'My Baby', 'Love is Blind', 'Collide' and many more.

Joining her would be one of South Africa’s most loved bands, Freshlyground, who will bring their sing-along fresh afro-pop sound to the falls. Due to overwhelming demand, Prince Kaybee, will once again ignite the festival with his signature mix of banging tracks, electric mixing and unforgettable energy.

BCUC will awaken the African spirit with their mix of ritual songs, around the fire hood songs; shebeen songs and church songs for a new generation infused with a rap influences. With so many more acts still to come, one can not miss out on this spectacular event.

For the first time, organisers said they will treat revellers to an early bird special of a three-day pass, which is $75 and a two-day pass will be only $50.

"Following the major success of last year’s format, the Vic Falls Carnival has once again created the best way to spend your last 3 days of 2018! Travel, adventure and of course, music, all in one renowned setting, Africa’s majestic Mosi-oa-Tunya, ‘the smoke that thunders’," they said.

There would be an African carnival train on 29 December, a concert at the Vic Falls Primary School featuring Freshly Ground on 30 December, and a New Year's unity concert on 31 December.

"Ring in the countdown with thousands of adventure loving travellers from all over the world, fire breathers, traditional dancers and a host of amazing artists at our Unity New Year’s Concert - bring along a flag from your country and paint your face as we all come together under the African skies!" said the carnival organisers.
