President Mnangagwa has been evacuated out of White City Stadium following a bomb blast at the just ended Zanu-Pf Bulawayo rally.
Zimbabwe's Presidential spokesman George Charamba said the President is safe and unhurt.
“President Mnangagwa has not been injured and is at Bulawayo State House. Investigations are underway and more details will be given to the public. There have been multiple attempts on President’s life over the past five years, said Charamba.
Vice President Constantino Chiwenga is said to be safe while hid co-Vice-President Kembo Muhadi reportedly has been rushed to hospital.
The VIP podium has been enclosed and security personnel are collecting evidence.
