Windhoek – Zimbabwean motorsport ace Axcil Jefferies is standing tall on the global stage after racing to a podium finish at the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup finale in Barcelona, Spain last weekend.
Jefferies paired with Madpanda Motorsport partner Ezequiel Perez Companc (ARG) in the Silver Cup as they secured the runner-up spot.

Jefferies used his Twitter handle to let the world how he felt after taking second place, saying: “Disappointing end to the Championship.. Had a rear wheel come loose again! Silver lining is that we secured 2nd in the Silver Championship … Onwards and upwards.”
